Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was a player for Australia at the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana on the sidelines for many years prior to making her return to rugby league. Allana was a star for New South Wales in her debut Women's Rugby League match against Queensland and played in 2015. Allana can also be found as a regular radio personality, appearing regularly on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching qualifications outside of sport. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare honor of having represented Australia at three different sports events: Rugby Sevens as well as Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' top player in rugby has to call time on her league career due to tearing her ACL four times. Ferguson has been in the sport for over 25 years. She already, had tears to the same ligament when she was 15 or 17 years old, and then 20 and a 4th tear meant her playing days were over. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' playmaker, was forced to resign earlier due to a 4th left ACL injury. Ferguson was injured in her ACL the month of November, while training. In the last week she announced the report in an interview with The Courier Mail.
